Undefeated, then at peace.
Musashi opens cold and sharp: the flash of a blade across a dojo floor, green and disciplined, under a thin mist of mountain air. The heart turns inward: an ink stone and brush, kōdō incense curling through a quiet room — agarwood smoke settling into the grain of the cedar floor. It settles, finally, into cave stone, hinoki, and moss-darkened rock, warmed by a low vanilla-amber resolve, a mountain hermitage where a duelist became a philosopher, and a philosopher found peace. Disciplined, austere and finally at peace.
